Communitarium is a project to develop, practice, document and promote online communitization, which is defined (for now) as:

To organize or bring together a group of people into a cohesive community. To foster a sense of community and shared identity among a group in order to implement policies, programs, or initiatives that encourage:

• community building
• social connectedness
• resource sharing
• collaborative decision-making and effort, and
• collective responses to problems.
