Information Entities
Definition: Information entities are chunks of data or physical materials that can be interpreted as information, representing isolated pieces of potentially meaningful content. These entities gain significance only when placed within an interpretive context or framework, known as an information ensemble.
Importance: In scientific inquiry and other disciplines, information entities are often treated as objective, standalone facts. However, without context or interpretation, they remain incomplete or meaningless. They become meaningful only through their relationship to broader frameworks, which we call ensembles.
